Startups at the Innovation Gardens Summit
On April 5th and 6th, in the Orange headquarters, the 2nd edition of the Innovation Summit Gardens was held. Conference was dedicated to the latest trends in telecommunications and new technologies. Orange in cooperation with partners: Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Oracle and Samsung presented solutions that were released during this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. There were also finalists of the 4th edition Orange Fab accelerator program.
Innovation Gardens Summit was an opportunity for finalists of Orange Fab to showcase their solutions among providers such as Samsung, Huawei and Oracle. It was also a chance for them to establish contacts with representatives of Orange Polska.
– Events such as the Innovation Gardens Summit give us opportunity to see many interesting people from startups as well as big companies such as Orange, Nokia, Huawei. This allows us to ask them for feedback, advice and contacts. – Mateusz Jagiełło from startup Tutlo, said.

Participation in the conference was an opportunity to listen to the lectures of world-class speakers. The lectures were about 5G, Hybrid Cloud or Open Economy. President of Orange Polska, Jean-François Fallacher presented Orange Polska’s preparations for the implementation of the 5G network. Ruth Guerra (Director of Strategy Development at Ericsson) and Federico Guillén (President Fixed Networks Business Group at Nokia) had lectures about 5G network. On the second day of the conference, Orange Fab finalists attended the workshops in four thematic blocks – “Transformation”, “Client”, “Network” and “Technology”. Workshops were held by experts from the conference partners.
